Thanks, guys.

It was really simple. Yesterday I was sitting at my computer, turned my head and saw this fly standing on an Ikea shelving unit - you know, the kind with the black metal tubing. The window was behind it, at an angle, so it provided a very bright background. I got off 2 snaps before it flew away. I simply had to boost contrast and convert to B&W in PP, and that's it.
