Lens: 18-250 Camera: K5 Photo Location: At home Saugus Ma

The front of my home faces East and I decided to play around and take a 2 shot pano with the Pentax 18-250 and a polarizer. The first shot was put into posterization mode with the K5's built in filters. The 2nd is normal with just some adjustments in brightness and contrast. The weather here in the Boston area is great this week being warm and dry.The tomato plants on the deck side of the house are doing awesome this year.I should be picking some in a couple of weeks. If I have too many maybe I'll set up a stand out front.--charliezap

Much prefer the second. You've got a lovely home, and home-grown tomatoes are the best!

2nd one for me too! Nice and very well manicured place Charlie. Those woods behind you.....imagine my place right in the middle of them. No grass, not many plants (less with Otis attacking them!).
I've got my flag flying out front on my cedar fence, when Otis passes it he a salutes!

Regards!

About 6 years ago we were thinking of selling and moving to another home but today everything is a Mc Mansion and there's just the 2 of us.So we decided before I retired (mostly her ideas) to update inside and out and stay put for the duration.--charliezap

Your polarization shots are much better than mine, maybe I am using too much strength on the selection. Thanks Charlie, all you will need is some bacon and lettuce and you got it made.

Nice job!

I like #1

If it was my house pix...

I'd get rid of the street clutter to the right. Posterize it slightly more (possibly) and put grass over the ugly blacktop.(But I don't know how to do it!)

Sometimes the filter does too much depending on the subject. There are 4 degrees and the one for this one seems to work well without it being too "cartoony"--charliezap. BTW-I cant wait to have a BLT or something equivalent.

Very cool effect Charlie. I like the first one for its creative appeal and the second as a serious portrait of your house. You have a very very beautiful place. Thank you for sharing!

Well done Charlie #2 for me #1 seemed to wash the wispy clouds out too much. You have a lovely homestead.

I like the second one Charlie. The colors in the first one just don't do justice to the place which seems to a beautiful peaceful street. Wish you had included a tomato or two.
