It's called a Pink & Grey Galah. As you can see, we come up with some real exotic names for our birds! LOL

What a gorgeous pink parrot that you have brought out of the shadows for us to see! Lovely action shot, great composition, and the focus in the foreground is as perfect as the parrots eye! A difficult shot you made look easy!!

I too am very jealous of the beautiful birds you have roaming the lands. I have two Green Cheek Conures that I love with all I am. I house them in the largest cages possible. BTW Dave, in the states these beauties are called simply Galah's or Rose Breasted Cockatoo's (just in case you ever wanted to adopt one).

Very nice image.
Last time I saw pink and gray was in 1958. A 1958 Ford. Couldn't find the Ford but here is a pink and gray 1955 Chevy
A model of a Ford, Australian no less, can be found at: 1958 Ford Customline "Star" Sedan | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Nice shot. For our American friends, the term 'Galah' is often associated with a foolhardy person, ie. "Ya've spilled me beer ya bloody galah".
