Now that is funny.

That is one weird bird Bob. I think I appreciate them better from the distance. Those lovely feathers don't make up for that ugly mug.

Cool shot Bob! I wonder why they don't have feathers on their heads and necks. I read that with Turkey Vultures is is because they stick their heads in carrion, so they don't get dead stuff stuck to their face. Do Wild Turkey's eat carrion. I will have to look this up now. Inquiring minds want to know.

the closeup is of a female, it was very hot and I don't think she had her makeup on yet. The poor thing looked beat for sure.

thanks Charlie, I keep Terri in front of me at all times when taking these photos, they do have some nasty looking feet.
