I know people talk about it all the time but the K5 is new to me coming from a k7 and man everyday I am impressed with it's high ISO capabilities. This was taken at ISO 1250. I would not have even gone past ISO 800 with the K7. I of course did some post processing but still out of camera the image was very usable.

Babies are always camera friendly aren't they?
Nice sharp eyes, a must in portrait photography.
I have the Tamron too, and it's a great lens.

Very very cute baby! And yes, excellent results with the K5. I too was very impressed with the low noise factor of the K5. Have fun with your new camera!!

What a cute little one. Great image. Congrats on the K-5. The K-7 still gives me bad vibes when I think of its lack of high ISO capabilities.
