Taken from our campsite April 2012 just out of Denmark in the SW of West Australia. This was very late afternoon and the sun suddenly hit the hill over the river creating this surreal lighting and I knew I had only minutes to capture this shot. I have only recently taken up digital photography having hung my keen amateur boots up in the late 80's. The contrast range had me in a panic! It was either the moment or the technicality.

I am a post processing junkie, but not for this one, contrast was boosted 10% and saturation 5% to help the unavoidable background burnout, that's it.C&C welcome, this is the shot that reignited my passion with a vengeance, a long way to go but determined to get there.
