Temperatures below 0 Deg F....
Posted By: clarenceclose, 01-25-2008, 08:02 PM

Had spent some time snowshoeing and tried to capture some of the feel of the outdoors...

Please comment and critique these shots/collages and let me know which one you feel brings across the outing.

Thanks

I think I like no 1 the best but I like how you did no 2 with the inserted trees, that's cool:-).
Clarence, you know that building on the left as you go through Pocatello heading south on I 15? A few years ago I was driving through headed to Salt Lake City to see my kid who was stationed there at the time. It was the evening and the light was just right and lit the building in a very cool manner. Do you have any pics of that building? I'm sure you know which one I mean:-).

Hi Clarence, both images nicely done. If I were to nitpick, I would choose a more easy to to read font in #1.

Take care, Heinrich

Thank you for your comments on the shots.

Reference the building, the only one that I can think of on the left side heading south that might have some interest is the Farmer's Insurance building, Green with lots of glass facing west. Though interesting architecturally I haven't done much photography with buildings so I don't have any shots of this one.

Thank you Heinrich.
I was experimenting with a font that might look more like billowing snow as I saw it on my hike.
Vertical text is also harder to read. Well, it was an experiment...
