Mating season
Lens: pentax 100mm f4 macro Camera: K10 Photo Location: Mitchell Co. Ga.

I wanted a backup body to my K200, but couldn't afford a new K30, K5, or even a used K20, so picked up a K10 pretty cheap on ebay. I like the ergonomics and the control I have with all the buttons and wheels better than the K200. But I don't think my photos look as sharp with it. Shooting the same way as I do with the K200.

Anyway, looks like mating season for the bugs in my area...........

These look plenty darned sharp to me. Especially the ladybugs.
What is lacking - can you post a comparison?

Hmmm, any sharper and you could slit your wrists! Great pics. I should have a K10 monday, I did read a side by side with same class nikon and olympus and the k10 beat both in sharpness and detail.

Thanks guys. It's probably just me getting used to the K10. I've taken some more photos with it and they are looking better to me.

deaning, you will enjoy the K10. I like my K200 also, but the K10 has more controls with buttons instead of having to dive into the menus, and it feels better in my hands, especially with the battery grip.
