These are absolutely gorgeous Heinrich! You could print these as postcards and sell them. Some of them are quintessential images of Canada's east coast. Although I have been 'East' 3 times I have never visited Nova Scotia. The closest I have been to that Province is waiting for a connection in the Halifax airport.

Thanks for sharing.

Good Job Heinrich brings back memories. I love the ocean shots , especially the low tide one. Looks like you had a good perch for the valley shots as well. Bluenose II is good as well, heck I like the Gulls as well ! Makes me wonder why I live in a place where the biggest body of water in the immediate area is a full bath tub

I love the gull shot, Heinrich - and, of course, images of the Bluenose.

Great series Heinrich!! Brings back a lot of memories of my childhood, growing up in NS. I still have family in Collingwood Corner, Dartmouth/Halifax, and cousins in Mahone Bay...

I grew up in Oxford.

Cheers,
Marc

A nice variety of beautiful shots Heinrich! Nova Scotia is definitely on my short list of places to visit. Thanks for whetting my appetite!

Heinrich, you have to stop this or I'll have to throw my camera away and give op photography!

Just kidding. Another great series from your hand! I feel privileged to be let into your world!

My favorite is #7 of the ship. Not sure why but it is attractive.
How about that shot in high contrast black and white?

Thank you Jeff, this was our third trip to the East Coast but the first time that we were late enough for the fall colors.

Take care, Heinrich

Hi Dave, the valley shots were taken from "The Lookoff", Minas Basin is in the backgound.
I was surprised how small the Bluenose II is, I had envisioned a larger ship.
As for large bodies of water, yeah I know what you mean. We got spoiled in the Yukon fishing large lakes for big fish.....

Take care, Heinrich
