Just back from a lovely three days in and around Rocky Mountain National Park. Despite the freakishly dry and warm winter and spring, there were still good wildflower displays to be found. ID help on #2 would be much appreciated!

Mariposa Lily, RMNP

The above photos were taken with the Sigma 70/2.8 macro. The two below show the close-up ability of the Pentax-A 24/2.8:

beautiful shots Jeff, when we were there we didn't get any flower shots, it was raining quite hard part of the time, so just cruised around to stay dry and explore. You got a very diversified grouping of flowers, glad you got to visit this beautiful area.

Thanks Bob -- we got the best of the weather. Hope you had views -- Trail Ridge Road is fantastic. Thanks Charlie -- wish I could spend the entire summer up there. But very glad to have had the trip.

Beautiful flower shots. I have never seen the false dandelion that color. Almost a peach. The harebells are beautifully captured. We are planning to summer in the Rockies next year. Can't wait. Haven't been back there in several years.
