Very interesting dermc,

would you mind telling us what you set it on or hung it off?

I'm still new to the world of macro photography, and am always wondering how people get their shots. There are a few other newbies here as well.

Hey Stu,
Thanks for looking.
The cork is actually sitting on a back cap for my 50mm. I have a piece of black foam core behind and under it . I used my vivitar 285 hv with some white foam core for bounce. other than that i just shot a bunch.

Ok, I tried to match you apple for apple in that last Macro Fun thread of yours, but you are way out on your own on this one. I tried getting a wine cork but when I looked around all I could find was the screw tops from the Boones Farm Strawberry Hills that I have been drinking for the last few months.
The photo of all the discarded screwtops was just not as interesting... Maybe I will try stacking them later for a Tower Shot...

Keep having fun and keep drinking wine....
