I'd say, you should rotate it because It took awhile for me to understand what I was looking at for a second. Or maybe it's just me. Haha

Clever answer. Just rotate the shot, not the environment.

Great shot, that's one way to make them stay still. My 12yo niece is going through a now more than 12 month phase of shooting/collecting anything dead, feel for sure she will end up as a forensic pathologist.

I almost didn't look at this one EM because I have a short attention span for bugs but something about the thumbnail caught my eye and am I glad it did. Dead or not, I really like this one. It is a beauty and wonderfully detailed. The color is striking.

The first shot is a temite alate, not an ant. Be happy it drowned and not ending up in your woodwork.
