Sports Dory race

The warm-up. (This was with the Sigma 17-70).

It's sort of a Le Mans-style launch.

The race is 3 laps, in and out.

One guy hops out to collect a token while the other guy turns the boat.

Easier said than done.

Another crash landing.

You've got some very nice ones there (er, here). I tend to prefer the ones closer to the beach - probably because the figures are large, dominating the scene.

A great action series of a sport that we don't see everyday. The sun and color are great.

fantastic series... great action shots... really like the shot with the classic cars on the pier overlooking those hard rowing athletes... dave m
