This will be my last post until we return from our Yukon trip in about a month.

When I say "unidentified" it means unidentified by me, if someone has a name for a critter please feel free to say so.

all awesome images Heinrich, wishing you well on your newest adventure. A group of 10 military vehicles is now in our CG, headed up your way and you may see the group later in the month. Here is a link Military Vehicle Preservation Association Announces 2012 Alaska Highway Convoy | Delta News Web
Travel safe my friend and of course take many pics of your continued adventures.

Thank you Bob for the well wishes and I just might take picture or two. We'll be ahead of the Alaska Highway Convoy by about a week but they will catch up with us in Whitehorse and we will probably see them there.

Take care,

Excellent macros. Can't help much with ID, but that last spider looks like what we call a common garden spider around here.

Fabulous shots with amazing detail! I enjoyed your series very much. I keep looking them over for a favourite but they are all stunning. I love that fence under the strange critter. Cool compositions on all of them and the colours are wonderful.

I hope you have a wonderful trip... I will look forward to your return and the photos you will share.

Thank you, that's what I thought but this little guy was only about 5mm long and I have no idea what the little ones look like.

Take care,

Thank you ever so much Tess, that "fence" is actually an RV outdoor floor mat, that's how small the critter was.

Take care,

Thank you Norm, they really do but they also reduce camera to subject distance and that can at times be a real pain in the back side.

Take care,

Looks like Fred, Ralph, Amy, lunch, Peter, Abe, Abe close-up, Jane, Lisa, and two damsel flies mating.
Some very awesome work - I especially like the pictures of Lisa and Peter.
And the two damsel flies - but I'm a little weird.
Thanks for sharing.
