Flowers via Diopter

It's hot. Too hot to work so I decided to play. I have a very nice set of diopter lenses purchased many moons ago! Yes, I hear the groans....."spends all the money on a camera and then uses diopters instead of buying a decent lens". Well, I'm guilty. Some photos were taken with Tamron 28mm, Tamron 135mm or Pentax 55-300mm. Used the diopters on all the lenses. Actually, worked rather well, IMO! It was a fun afternoon! PP for cropping only!

These are very nice. Those diopters worked well. I can never get photos of lantana to come out right, always have bad hot spots in them. Great colors. Well done.

Had to ask my wife which one was Lantana! Glad you like the shots. All I can say is, it's a lot easier to fiddle around like I was when it's full sun! I could stop the Aperature down and still keep colors and such..... the Lantana blooms can be large a difficult to focus across the whole blossom. I'm sure you know all this anyhoo.

Cee Cee, Thanks! Nice to hear from the "land down under"! I suspect we'll see some of your flowers in a few months? Like your avatar BTW.

Thanks! Gotta give the credit for those colors to the grower, my wife! What amazed me is that I used three different lenses to take the photos and without looking at the EXIF data ya can't really tell.
