Big Sky Country Storm

Wind shear clouds backlit by the sun gives an eerie view to an incoming storm in Cut Bank, Montana

Good heavens Bob. Pull in the slides and get the heck out of Dodge (er, Cut Bank). That is one scary looking storm coming in.

Typical MT summer TSTM building up over GNP and moving out over the Front Range. Looks like a big one though. I really like the 1st one.

It took a little bit to build, but boy did we get it last night, lots of rain, hail and lightning. I was disappointed I couldn't get any lightning shots, it was pelting the area with hail stones, man those hurt.

It was wild looking, I was worried for a little bit about a tornado forming up Bruce, but thankfully just a storm.
