My Sunday walk to check fence. Beautiful morning! Nice soft day! Just a hint of Fall in the air! Seems a bit early? I usually take a Fuji X10 because it’s small and handy, but today I didn’t plan to do any work – just walk and check things out.
The K-5 was a bit clumsy to pack but it paid off! Sometimes a little telephoto is nice to have along.

Gotta look close but love is in the air. The Fall rut has begun. There’s a nice size Mule Tail buck and doe. The 55-300mm is nice to have at times.

I know what you mean about that lens. It stays on my camera all the time. Light enough to hike with too. Love the second shot. As was already noted, the framing is really nice.
