I am a coin collector and this photo really warms my soul! I love it! Very sharp and excellent lighting!

edit: I would also like to know the lens information.

Brilliant!

I would like to venture in the DA* range, but having just bought my K10D I'll have to wait. Mind you. I'd like to start with the 16-50 but given some of the reviews i've read i'm a tad unsure.

What lens did you use to take the money shot?

Yes, I have that lens and it is a fantastic lens. But which lens did you take the macro photo of Money with? And at what settings. The EXIF data says 70mm at 8 seconds, f/38!

Ah yes, I want 2 more lenses to complete my set, a super wide angle and a telephoto, dont know which ones though. That wont be happening for a long time though

Yeh reviews arent too hot for the 16-50 but there are signs of improvement.

The lens used was the sigma 17-70mm, probably shot at 70, its a really macro lens (for my perposes).

Tom the exif is correct although I took at various speeds but at ISO 400. Im still pretty new to this game so probably the wrong settings entirely but from what I remember its only one that worked well. Lens glass was practically touching the coins!
