Hi,

Last post of the day as my eyes are tired and fingers are aching after a hard day of sitting on my ass pressing buttons!

Another valley in the Lake District.

Thankyou guys. I am very lucky to live here, the weather is a bit rubbish at the moment but the place still has its moments.

Very nice tease, Tom. Green hills and trickling streams are but a distant memory in January.

We were watching a travelogue tonight and the intrepid traveler was in Northern England and Scotland. My wife watch in silence for a few minutes then uttered, "Wow! There's a place we have to visit!" (I think the old castles in Scotland were calling to her.) But the hills looked incredibly like those in your area. Our hills are all cluttered up with trees; it's really hard to appreciate them that way.

Very nice. I really like the composition and color saturation of this shot.

Great stuff as always Thomas. Almost every time I open one of your posts I expect to see Frodo walking off in the distance....

Jeff, the hills here and in Scotland used to look like yours until farming all but wiped them off most of them. Real shame I think, but your right we wouldnt have the view we have now. Tell your wife Scotland is a beautiful place to visit, in the summer

Peter, ha ha thanks. After an hour walking with K10 round your neck you begin to feel like frodo with a weighty burdon! I might attach the camera to a skateboard and pull it behind me

Again thanks all
