Agree on the bee but I really like the morning glory too. That is a brilliant shade of blue that is kind of rare in the flower world.

Always nice to see that you have Old Glory flying at your home Charlie, beautiful blue in the last pic, those spiders wouldn't last long with Terri around the house. Now go sweat it out at the gym, 50 years, how do those pretty HS gals look now?

Thanks everyone.I thought that the bee shot was a hoverfly but maybe it is a bee.
The morning glory shot I personally like because the blue is true to what it is.A hint for heavenly blue morning glorys is don't feed them. They get lazy if you feed them and will produce many green leaves but limited flowers.--charliezap

Wow...fantastic shots Charlie. Vivid colors and great detail. The "bee" looks to be a drone fly, looks a little too big for a hover fly.

Yes, it's a hoverfly rather than a bee (drone flies are hoverflies too).
Nice photos.

It just goes to show that pictures are all around us without leaving our "home turf".That gave me the idea to start a theme challenge that I just posted.--charliezap
