Not really sure why they want to get rid of it, they are still thinking global warming I guess.
Except for the billions of tons of toxic coal ash, and the gigatons of carbon.
Besides. Once they build the new coal export terminal on the west coast most of the coal will be shipped to China anyway.
Of course people out west don't have to deal with the Mercury pollution and dead acid lakes caused by more than a century of coal burning.
