That's my main subject Charlie, with groups/governments trying to outlaw coal here and in Canada, soon we may not see coal trains.

that is so kind of you to say that, but I am sure they have plenty of images. Of course if certain groups/leaders have their way, they would like to drive coal out of business. This train would look kind of funny with solar panels and windmills on each RR car, but some don't understand about the need for electric production on a large scale. It would of sure been nice to have that pipeline from Canada to the US, but as you know, that was shut down too.

Jerry, they mine coal at $9 a ton in Wyoming/Montana some of the cheapest prices in the world are from this area and the new methods of scrubbing and cleaning coal to burn is very clean. Not really sure why they want to get rid of it, they are still thinking global warming I guess.

Except for the billions of tons of toxic coal ash, and the gigatons of carbon.

Besides. Once they build the new coal export terminal on the west coast most of the coal will be shipped to China anyway.

Of course people out west don't have to deal with the Mercury pollution and dead acid lakes caused by more than a century of coal burning.
