Hi,

A couple of people that i photographed during my last trip to East Timor.

A recent nation, lots of poverty but always with a smile on their faces.

Great shots and for me very emotional. More East Timorese (200,000+) were slaughtered than under Pol Pot and this was allowed to happen because of oil and gas interests in the Timor Sea.

The last shot in particular is amazing, worthy of National Geographic!

I'm really sorry i didn't took my SLR and only took a P&S, next time i'll take all my gear.
