Beautiful pastel colors and the birds are a great addition.

Excellent shot (but needs straightening).... the early evening lights look cool across the bay, the colors go well together, and the angle of the birds has symmetry about the horizon to the angle of the waterline. What a cool composition. Is that the Long Beach skyline to the right?

@Geojerry, Thanks! Well, I think that's Catalina. I might be wrong, but that's what I think it is.

No, if you're in Bolsa Chica, then Catalina would be about 90 degrees off to your left. I just checked a map.... the buildings on the right would have to be downtown Long Beach, and the lights in the distance would probably be the southern coast of the Palos Verdes peninsula.

The steel blue water and golden sky make this a gorgeous photo to "fall into" ... I love the birds and mist, and the motion of the water is quite special. Thank you for sharing this great image.

Don't change a thing the horizon in the back is nice and level and I like the angle in the front corner of the sand as it adds some perspective.
In case I forgot to mention it I really like the photo...Bas

Stunning image, I never get that lucky with birds/animals and spend huge amounts of time in PP with PS and still they don't look as good as yours, well done.
