Majestic Mount Shasta - Standing 10,000 feet above surroundings

Was on a trip to Crater Lake recently, and came back through CA Highway 97 to get on to I-5.

It's kind of a unusual way to make landscape photo's. But it really puts the mountain in perspective!

LOL, I take lots of photos from the car too. On the Al-Can you almost had to. By the way, you have bugs on your windscreen in the last one. These are really nice shots. Like the perspective. That cloud cover is awesome.

I agree with the others that it is an unusual but interesting way of doing landscapes!

Oh don't talk to me about bugs! There were swarms of them in some places, the whole front of the car and windshield was covered. Had to stop at gas stations and clear out the windshield.

That last one from the back seat is a nice take on the landscape theme, and actually came out pretty good considering it's through a window.

I drove that road year before last, it's a great! That's a pretty remote part of the US, quite a distance from any city of even moderate size.

I think polarizer might have to do a lot with that

True, weed is like the only nearby place and that is also good 50+ miles away.
