Another Winter Beach
Lens: DA* 16-50 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay, NSW, AUS

These are from Hyams Beach, a few kms round the bay from the ones I posted a couple of days ago. Hyams Beach has some off the whitest sand anywhere. The colours look accurate on my laptop, but it's not calibrated.

[edit] I'm always getting my beaches mixed up. This is Seamans Beach located just to the south (100 metres or so) of the village of Hyams Beach where there is a beach named Hyams Beach. [/edit]

A few more people on this beach, but it's still not exactly crowded It was about 18C/64F.

Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island with the Pacific beyond

Royal Australian Navy College

The northern end of the beach

The size of the car park gives an idea of how busy this place can get

The simplicity of the second shot really stands out for me. That is a beautiful beach and I would love to feel that sand on my bare toes. TFS.

I love 'em, Richard and I'm with Susan - that second one is the kind of minimalism that I really dig. Is that a red Saab I see in the car park?

Thanks, Bob. And here I am wishing I could travel through some of the areas you've been recently
