Wow! Charlie! Some of the best I have seen with the 18-250. Very nice detail and color, great shooting!
Regards!

BTW- I though this was going to be about an undercover Squirrel stalking you......after that "Squirrel Helper" episode, Otis put you under 24/7 surveillance, but I see the SIA (Squirrel Intelligence Agency) agent has not yet been detected. If you do spot him, don't approach him, these damn Squirrels have started arming themselves and should be considered dangerous. I went out on the deck this morning and one shot me in the back of the head with a damn pea shooter.

Thanks Rupert.I tried to use the 55-300 lens but I was too close to have it focus looking up at the nest from less than 4ft away. The 18-250 did come through.I have a totem in the yard with used Squirrel Helper boxes on them and it keeps the SIA at bay.--charliezap

Momma's eye in the first shot is spot on Charlie. Looks like a great campground, state park? Of course it is, just read that in the header. Dumb eyes.
Dumb and dumber, my husband just reminded me that we camped there a couple of years ago. No wonder it sounded familiar. I am going back to bed now.

Loved that first one and pretty impressive resolution for such a wide range zoom.

Thanks Dave.It doesn't hurt when the subjects are only several feet away.--charliezap

Sometimes when you use the "sweet spot" on the lens the results are gratifying.--charliezap
