Just shooting down into the water, then softening up and bringing out the color contrast in Topaz.

Dual DOF. They said it couldn't be done.

Paddling out. He'd better hurry or he'll be toast. Been there, done that.

A regular-footer going backside, as they say. (Left foot first, back to the wave)

And a few scenery shots for good measure.

love that surf shot and the colors of the last photo remind me of a Dyan's painting, beautiful capture.

Really beautiful coastline and well-captured here. I think the second one is my favorite; you caught the wave just right.

Thanks for the positive comments! The waves were nice and big and made for great subjects. Although I realized I was wrong in my surfer description. Left foot forward, like the guy in #4, is known as "regular foot." If you get up on the board with your right foot forward, you are known as a "goofy footer." It's strange as it has no real connection to left or right handedness. I fixed the caption.
