360x180 pano
Lens: Rokinon 8mm ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F11
Posted By: deaning, 08-15-2012, 07:06 PM

This has been doing my head in trying to create a fully immersive 360x180 panorama, finally did it, the tower top is not in focus and it would work better in the early morning. I thought my focus ring had slipped as is common on this lens as in 6 different evening attempts the top of the tower wont focus. I just realised the top of that thing vibrates so I need a faster shutter speed and I wish a higher viewpoint! There is a bing map included and ambient wind and an appropriate lens flare,

EDIT: when loaded click in the image and drag to move and mousewheel to zoom in and out!

The foreground is a bit to dark for my taste. You could try to remedy that with the software available to you or reshoot it when the difference between the brightest and darkest part of the picture is smaller.

Thanks. I will reshoot in better lighting conditions. Did you view the full immersive panorama?

I didn't. I overlooked the link but I tried just now. Somehow only a part of the photo appears in my browser and not the full panorama.

Good luck with the reshoot!

OOPS! I should have put in controls, you click in the image in the browser window and move the mouse to pan around the full 360x180 view and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Cheers! Going to try and reshoot this weekend from a better vantage point for the surrounding scenery.
