Thanks for the ID. Actually there are two western types, the Western Bluebird whch looks very similar to our Eastern, and the all-blue Mountain Bluebird.

Dang it, you are so right. I keep forgetting about the Mountain Bluebird and think of the Western Bluebird when I do think about it. I'll probably forget it again tomorrow. The old memory just isn't what it used to be.

#1 and #3 are really good! Lucky you live somewhere with lots of cooperative birds. Must be a line forming for that berry branch.

Yeah, there was a lot of activity around that bush. Have a shot or two of a mouse that was also getting his food from there.
