I've never actually been to Cape Cod. The closest I've been was Boston. I don't think the grass would look this green in winter, though?

Wonderful sweeping bay with a view to the ocean beyond. Really like this one. The perspective really gives you an idea of the lay of the land. Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks Susan! I'm standing on a headland at the end of a peninsula - you can see the water on both sides of the peninsula's neck. I wish I'd had a wider lens to be able to get more of the town of Stanley in the picture, but the DA16-45 is the widest lens I have (other than an old screw mount fisheye). It was a beautiful spot on a beautiful day.

I have the same lens Rob and have shot a few panos to get everything I want in. Still a learning process for me though. Don't you love the lens though?

Nice sweeping vista of an island not often seen. Post more shots of Tasmania please! I really hope to make it out there someday.

I love the lens, although for some reason it doesn't like my K7. I used it on the K200 on this trip and left the 55-300 on the K7 most of the time. Multiframe panoramas are fine, but stitching is a pain which I don't usually have time for - and getting consistent exposure and colour balance across a panorama is also hard.

Happy to oblige. I'm sure I will find some more pics worth posting from the trip. I posted a couple already, however they're not landscapes.

This last one is from my previous trip to Tassie in 1992. Fujichrome 100 slide film.
