Interesting effect. Somehow looks to me like something from a highly skilled illustrator, rather than a photograph. That's just an opinion, not a criticism. Mind explaining a bit what your process in post was?

It is a simple photomatix single frame tone map. I then send over to capture NX2 though to finish the PP. There i used curves, lowered the saturation and also warmth. The second part I do a lot of. It gives what I feel to be a sort of monochrome feel, although still a colour picture. Having such an old bus felt surreal, so I gave it the treatment to suit. I like it. To me it simply suits the subject.

That's a great photo and the PP goes well with that old bus.

Speaking of bus, does anyone know what kind that is?

Thanks guys !!!! Ive no idea of the make of the bus, but I can tell you it is in daily use. Its in amazing condition too. Next time Im in Landudno I think I shall catch it.
