#7 I want as a t-shirt! You have captured a combination of both styles well (I googled both photographers) not sure of the PP to get this effect (old person, not an old fart) but all are outstanding. Well done.

Not much on portrait photography because I don't know much about it. Honestly have no idea why I even opened this thread but am so glad I did. I really enjoyed looking at these. The PP is wonderful and I love all the stories each image tells. Really well done and thanks for posting them.

Do you mean Calvin's technique, inverted high pass? If that what you meant, I did not use actually, I use Topaz Details, powerful plug-in!

Yes, I have used this on a couple of landscapes with good effect, I will check out topaz and keep up the great work!

These are outrageous! I love them all! You do all of this in Topaz Detail? I bought that a while ago but haven't been able to get this kind of look. Can you say which sliders you've been using, primarily, to get this look?

The PP gives you a unique style... it's very cool, in a non-traditional,sense. Like street, poster and comic book art, without being any of those.
