Ode' to Neil Armstrong
Lens: Tamron 23A + MC7 2X Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Cottonwood, CA USA ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F6.7

Been trying to get a Moon photo with my modest assortment of gear. Thought this was passable. While shooting the photo I was thinking back when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. It was just days before my wife and I were married, 43 years ago! Time flies.

I agree Bob. No boosting or seeking the lime light! He let his deeds and behavior say it all! A man with true class and dignity!

Here's the set-up Boker. Just old stuff, nothing new. Well, the MC7 2X Teleconverter is used but new to me.... The lens and everything else I already had.

Well, don't know about that! I would hope he'd appreciate the thought!

Interesting he was the first human on the moon and he wasn't doped up, didn't do an end zone dance, didn't spike the ball, didn't go home and slap his wife around and didn't start yelling I'm the "greatest". No political statements or public prayers!

He was honorable, dignified and refreshing! A humble hero!

That moon shot is as good as any that I've seen.
I always think of the Death Star from Star Wars whenever I see a moon shot though.
Nice set-up too.

RIP Mr. Armstrong.
