The Old Candy shop
Lens: 18-55 kit Camera: K5 Photo Location: Tallahassee, Fl. ISO: 80

This set of pictures was taken on Saturday along US Hwy 19 in north Florida. The buildings are nothing special, just old and run down but I thought they had character and would look interesting in some pictures.
Thanks for viewing and any C&C are welcomed,
Rob

I think the last one has the most impact, because it's just so in-your-face-decaying. Personally, I like the others, but I think they're a bit "busy" - too much visual information, not enough focus - for most people.
I find the first one very interesting - an almost newly constructed wall, with a window into decay. Disconcerting. Nice job.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi

I like derelict site photography, one can be really creative with them, and usually there is lots to look at and discover. But to discover things there has to be good exposure. Your pictures, I am afraid, are just a little bit too dark generally. I have adjusted one of them to show more detail in the shadow areas and make it more like a shot as it was taken on a bright day.

Greetings

3, 5, and 6 are really good. Agree with Schraubstock that they are too dark (in parts). With #3 some perspective correction would help too. That one is my favorite -- a startling topsy-turvy scene, very nicely captured.

Thanks dave, brao-nite and schraubstock,

schraubstock, The picture of #3 was one of a 5 exposuer set. I didn't use the middle picture because i thought the reflextion of the road was to much and so I went with a little darker. Here is the middle exposure stright from the camera ( raw to jpeg however)

Thanks for the comments everyone
