With all the fires in Idaho, this sunset looked like there was a fire burning along the mountain rim. Photo taken from our campground overlooking the boat dock.

Gorgeous composition, Bob! Love the light you captured and the ripples/texture of the water! Such a lovely and peaceful scene.

Isn't Ririe Reservoir a hidden gem in the area? Not many people know about it and when I lived in the area I used to take my canoe their quite often and do a little cliff diving.

Very nice picture. I like the texture of the water.

What you don't want to do Susan, is have a couple glasses of wine and get too close to the edge and fall into the boat from 100 foot up. "Be Careful Bob" rings in my ears from Terri.

thank you Lori, the wind was just starting to pick up and stir the water a bit when I took the picture. I was afraid the water would be too dark, but it turned out better than I thought.

We were camped at the old KOA in Idaho Falls and we found out about Juniper CG, what a difference 25 miles makes. We were crammed in and it was a bit noisy at IF and we pull into here and we say Eureka. Full hook up CG, closest neighbor 100 feet away, beautiful landscape and a view to die for. We were going to go closer to the Tetons, but most campgrounds there are full, so for $16 a night here, we will stay for 2 weeks and just drive into the park.
