Will there be a sea of morning glories?

I made the mistake of feeding them.Nitrogen makes them lazy and sure I got plenty of green but limited flowers. They've been "neglected" for a couple of months and now look like they are ready to bust out in force. My wife hates them because she says that they take away from the deck but hopefully she will change her mind if they pop.--charliezap

Well Charlie, you really have quite a hedge on that beautiful deck. Do you own a hedge trimmer, I would have to agree with the Mrs., one bloom and then they are gone.

It is going to be stunning for a very brief period but I think it will be worth it.

I'm waiting for that primo shot if all goes well. These plants that you see were started at the base of the deck at the end of May and they sprouted over 10 ft up and out in less than 3 months.--charliezap

I like the lush, damp look of the shot, Capn. Nice job.

What many people don't know is that when one morning glory blooms it only lasts for that morning and dies off after that.---charliezap
