thank you Bob, yes these are wild.. semi wild at least, the locals mostly put out seed for the parrots, I think the Kookas drop by to see if there are any offerings, they like to eat snakes & lizards and such but don't mind a piece of steak or a chop bone.

Ha Ha, yeah they do look like that, I never get tired of looking at them, but Its hard to think of them as "little old men" when you see them swoop on a snake, take it back up into the trees and bash it against the branch to kill it and eat it.

thank you snappy chappy, I was happy with it, the bird let me get quite close and kept still, it was 6.30pm failing light, ISO1600 and still a slow shutter speed- 1/15s hand held - I think I got lucky!
