You have a way of making the most of unpromising situations! (I'm reminded of your "I hate shopping" shot.) Excellent work from concept through to execution.

Now this is clever, for sure. Beautifully done and I love the irony. BTW, we could use some of that rain.

Like it. Recall the summer of '85...my wife and I were in Great Britain for 3 weeks. Think it rained every day, except for one or two. This summer in Western Canada...very little rain and high temps seem to be between 28- 35 above (Celsius). Too much heat for me.

I'd take rainy and 70's-80's over 90+ fry an egg on the car weather any day. I'd love to live in the UK someday. I know you've had some unusually hot weather this summer too but overall the climate over there is much preferable to living in the tropics. I'll probably end up in Seattle or maybe somewhere up in New England eventually but however it goes I want some place where I don't have to fry 3/4 of the year and where a pair of wellies are mandatory gear. I'm so sun sensitive that I really like cloudy days and rain. The more overcast it is the more fun I get to have. The more sun and heat there is the more I get stuck inside. I like your shot. I love that umbrella. It brings to mind Dr Who and phone boxes, fish and chips and the Beatles, all good things British...
