Boston's Zakim-Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge
Lens: Sigma 8-16 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Boston's Zakim-Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F8

I was back in Boston earlier this week and walked over to Paul Revere Park and shot the Z bridge. 5 shots stitched even with the Sigma at 8mm.

The 8-16 is a wonderful lens. It is - as I am finding, can be a very difficult lens to use (the width and distortion), depending on the application. I found that if you have straight edges near the extremes of the lens, you need to watch out. On these shots I essentially abused the lenses' distortion. I want to see if I can make some perspective adjustments and see if I can convert a lost experiment into a pretty good image.

After they adjusted the lens, it nails the AF - given that there is sufficient light for the K5.

Here is what I actually acquired the lens for....

well done on this zakim bridge at night one of these days I'll get a night of it :
