Thanks. Even with the stem clamped it was still moving around and needed a bit more light, so when all else fails, bring on the flash. Tried a fair few angles, some worked some, well you know the result. This one just grabbed me a bit and with a little post to bring up the blacks so the bottom disappeared. A photographer i follow from the US said once, less is sometimes more so a little negative space isn't always bad.

Very nice shot and draws, I would crop the bottom to equal the top for net view, had to scroll a fair bit on widescreen laptop. Leaving all the black space in, I imagine this would work really well in landscape rotated 90 degrees CCW. Just my 50c (used to be 2c, but inflation etc).

It is very mysterious looking. I keep looking at it trying to unravel its mystery. Absolutely beautiful and thanks for sharing it.
