The Bee's have it!
Lens: Tamron Adaptall 40A Camera: Penta K-5 Photo Location: Cottonwood, CA USA

Have an old Tamron Adaptall 40A lens that developed a problem! I was informed, "Those old Tamron lenses aren't worth fooling with". Found a wonderful person who overhauled the lens and it's as good, perhaps better, as new. What-the-heck old lenses and old people kinda belong together!

Thanks mysticcowboy and Bob. There are a few more in flight shots on flicker too. I was surprised that 1/1000s shutter speed didn't freeze the bee's wings! Yet, 1/1,250s did in the bottom photo. Guess we now know about how fast the wings beat!

Well captured, Bees in flight are fairly hard to get a good shot of.

Thanks! The little buggers are busy as ......Bees

snappychappy, the bush was a Crape' Myrtle Wood in full bloom! It was absolutely loaded with bees. It helps to have plenty of opportunities!
