Claytons HDR
Lens: Sigma 18-55 Camera: K10D ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F22

A friend took me to her favourite beach along the south coast just before a storm. It was so windy I had to try to anchor the camera but still ended up with a little movement. The 10 sec exposure created the cloud movement giving it somewhat of an HDR look, the blue tinge is the camera strap blowing into the field of view briefly and gives it a toy camera feel. It went to full sun from overcast during the shot blowing out part of the foreground.

I like it because of all the imperfections for some reason. In PP Alien Skin used Kodak Ektachrome 100 preset as I LOVE that film from times past for landscape.

Nice but it needs a focal point for me. The sky is nice but there just isn't much of interest int he shot.

Love what the long exposure did to the water. Gave it a wonderful silky smoothness. The contrast between the sky, water and foreground rocks is enough for me to enjoy the shot very much.

I enjoy C & C but I think you missed the point. This is crap and posted as such. I took it, like it, and will keep it.

Fingers are still numb, wind straight off the Antarctic.

This spot really didn't need the ND treatment but we were playing. The pod of 5-6 dolphins surfing the waves AFTER I packed up was something to witness. Next time!
