I see Bison burgers and Antelope steaks ! These shot sure bring back thoughts of simpler times. Nice series Bob.

A lot of ranches raise them for slaughter now Den, but they don't have the fat content of those tasty Angus beef.

I can't imagine what it was like to see hundreds of thousands of buffalo/bison on the land.

thanks Tess, this is beautiful country in South Dakota, you would love it here, so much to do and see. Tolkien's quote is wonderful, I spend a lot of my time lost, but that is when I find the best sights for some reason.
