Ahh - the wide open spaces I love to view!

The Buffalo shots are great - what a majestic creature!

Man, that was fast - the last I knew you were in Idaho.......

As always, thanks for sharing your great views.

More great images from you, Bob.
Love the close up of the buffalo. I didn't know that they numbered them for you! Hope you got them all. TFS...again.

Regards,
Ray.

thank you Stan, glad someone is keeping track of our travels, sometimes I feel lost when I get up in the AM. You're right about South Dakota, this was a prior to visit, we just pulled into Utah today. We will spend a few days bumming around before pulling into Zion NP for 2 weeks.

I don't mean to pry when I say that I am kind of following you, I just find your lifestyle in your retirement intriguing.

I throughly enjoy seeing all the different places you capture and share with us. I am kind of traveling along with you seeing your views through your lens. It's kind of like reading a good book that takes you away from the present if just for a bit.

Ok then - I am ready for Utah!

thanks for looking and the kind words. All were taken with the 50-200mm kit lens. I also took the Mount Rushmore photos with the same lens.

I'll tell you Ray, when we got up to number 113, that was enough for the day. We headed back to the motorhome exhausted

Glad you enjoy our travels Stan. I send our kids info on where we are camping or visiting along with pics as we travel. I get a phone call asking where we are, I say Idaho and my son says I thought you were in Wyoming. I give up

One of our favorite state parks is Custer. Love the begging burro shots. Didn't realize there were so many of them. Are they getting ready for the bison round-up? Think it occurs around this time of year.

Bet those free range buffalo would make some tastey burgers! Now I wouldn't want any of them slaughtered, mind you, but I'm just saying, they'd be mighty good eatin'.

Susan, I think soon there will be more burros than buffalo. Here is a link to the roundup. We may go back up next year to see it, I have to get my driver license around that time http://gfp.sd.gov/state-parks/directory/custer/events/buffalo-roundup.aspx
