Scaramouche, Scaramoose !
Camera: K5 Photo Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta ISO: 800

We spent the evening at the in-laws after supper and a few to many wobbly pops to be driving. Got up early had a coffee and we headed out back home. As we approached our turn off from the range roads (urban area) we saw these guys. Me with my camera bag in the vehicle and the DA 35LTD on - The last two are when I slapped on the DA* 50-135 (longest lens I had with me) the buggers saw that one comming and headed for bushes.

How cool is that. All the time we spent at the NP's in Wyoming and Montana we never saw much wildlife. I guess I should of continued north to Alberta. Looks like these big guys can really run.

Look at them move! Our Algonquin Park moose stand still and pose. Yours provide a challenge. Great shots Dave.

"Galloping Mooses, Batman" (I think I remember Robin saying that) Not really, I just made that up but it did seem to fit. Good captures, Dave.

Thanks Bob - yep I have been to a few NP up here looking for Deer, Elk, Caribou, Bear, Moose, Fox, Eagles,Cougars , etc and usually settle for a mountain then on a random drive home out they jump from the ditch,

Thanks Tess I was surprised on how fast they can move in an open field.

I am sure Robin said that Den , and batman likely has some Moose repellent spray hanging off his utility belt
