Nature shots with DA*55 and 18-135 WR
Camera: Pentax K-30 Photo Location: Virginia

Nature can be awesome. Unfortunately, my limited abilities might not convey the actual beauty I saw. Here are some recent shots of nature just being ... natural.
(Apologies to the selective color haters, but I like how the spider turned out.)

Thanks very much for looking, hope you like these.

Simply beautiful shots. I think those are the best samples from the 18-135 mm lens that I have seen to date. Great capture of the light and colours in the first two and nice DOF in the last three. I really liked your isolation of colour on the spider in the last photo - great effect. It would appear your "limited abilities" are more than up to the task! Thanks for sharing these.

Beautiful shots! Also how do you get the sunrays to go down on the photo like that on shots 1 and 2?

All of the images are very lovely. Though 2, 4, and 5 are excellent. Thanks for capturing and sharing what you saw.

Gorgeous shots loco! The colors of the morning glory from the 18-135 are fantastic.

I have been following your progress and this is the last time ever to use the limited abilities line. Unlimited ability is the new theme with photos like these Lori, love them all and post more often please. Bob

Hi Loco, very nice photos! How do you do the effect for #5? Is that a Photoshop black and white layer with a spot erased?

3 and 5 are world beaters. Frame 'em and put 'em on your wall.

Loco you are a great ambassador for Pentax & the K-30, skilled hands indeed!

I'm envious of that 18-135mm WR really great for a zoom, not even a *
