Wow - never imagined they would be so willing to come out onto such an open beach like that. Very cool shots! Where was this, looks a lot like the Oregon or Washington coast?

I see elk almost everyday around here. These pics really got my attention as I would have never guessed you would see any on the beach like that as I only see them in the thick forest area where I live.

Really neat to see them in a totally different environment!

In the last shot it really looks like those elks are wandering along the coast in a desert which really adds a surreal quality too the shot. Well done!

Appreciate the comments. This was treat to catch them in the coastal setting. Actually caught some up in the
Redwoods as well.
