Living on the Edge
Photo Location: Zion NP, Utah

There are several full size pine trees,which grow to over 150 foot, on ledges and crevices on the side of this mountain. The 2nd photo shows the height and sheerness of the mountain, the pine is in the upper right.

It blows me away that a large tree like that can grow in such a place, under such conditions. Nature is incredible! Thank you for sharing this marvel, Bob!

Nice images Bob and yes sometime one has to wonder how things can grow in such places.

i agree Lori, just a small seed that is deposited in a crevice and able to get enough moisture to grow is incredible. This is a tree with a view I would say.
