thank you Bruce, the A series 70-210 f4 has really nice contrast and colour, and a handy macro/close focus function at 70m, just right for flowers, it has become one of my favorites, cheers.

thanks for you comments dean, not wild like yours, but hey this was just outside my front door ..... the bricks aren't really red just look red because they're OOF. (taken with Canon P&S, hardly passes the brick wall test)
