First Bottlebrush flower to open on the tree.

wow, great colour in these, the buds with the red starting to burst out look fantastic ! ..... my tree has a few smallish flowers open, damn weather can't make up its mind, but the birds are starting to line up already.

nice looking flower. the reds look clipped on my monitor, I hope it isn't so.

No the red isn't clipped that is the natural colour. I use a Color Munki Photo calibration unit to calibrate my monitor and they look natural here.

Whoa, that is red! Looks fine on my iPad and iMac! Great in fact! You have some wonderful flora down there. Even liked the beetle in the other post.

BTW, I have a purple flower growing here that neither my Fuji X10 or K5 with Tamron lens will photograph correctly. The purple flower looks artificial when photographed, even PP doesn't help much. I can adjust the both camera's color reproduction to do a better job, but then I need to remember to put the settings back when I'm done! That's my problem.....remembering
